Built upon years of hunting guide outfitting experience, wildlife science and careful business planning, The R & K Hunting Company has built a reputation as one of the foremost outfitters in the nation. This foundation was followed by years of selectively gathering some of the best hunting habitat for mule deer, elk, moose and more in the Western United States. We now have exclusive leases on over 1,000,000 acres of pristine private land in Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.

All hunts are inclusive of lodging, meals, airport transportation and on-mountain transportation as well as hunting guides. Our private hunting land for these hunts is comprised of more than 100 square miles of pristine terrain ranging from an elevation of around 7200 ft. and higher for deer and between 8,000 to nearly 10,000 feet for Elk.

At lower elevations, the land is covered with old growth sage and cedar which changes to evergreens and aspens the higher we go.  There are many streams and ponds along our rolling benches with transitions to higher elevations taking place over about seven miles.

Elk Rifle Season Runs October 15 through October 31, 2013

Description:  Includes 5 full days of hunting with your choice of one guide to one hunter for a price of $7,500 or one guide to two hunters for a price of $6,750.  Tags are available for $1,121 per hunter. The R & K Hunting Company can accommodate groups of up to 8 hunters for rifle hunts.

Hunt 1: Arrive October 14 and begin hunt on October 15. Depart October 20.

Hunt 2: Arrive October 21 and begin hunt on October 22. Depart October 27.

Mule Deer Rifle Season Runs October 1 through October 12, 2013

Description: Includes 4 full days of Hunting with your choice one guide to one hunter for a price of $7,500 or one guide to two hunters for a price of $6,750. Tags are available for $606 per hunter. The R & K Hunting Company can accommodate groups of up to 8 hunters for rifle hunts.

Hunt 1: Arrive September 30 and begin hunt on October 1. Depart October 5.

Hunt 2: Arrive on October 4 and begin hunt on October 5. Depart October 9.

Hunt 3: Arrive on October 8 and begin hunt on October 9. Depart October 13.

Elk Archery Season Runs September 12 through September 30, 2013

Description: Archery hunts include 5 full days of hunting and The R & K Hunting Company can accommodate groups of up to 6 hunters. Tags are $1,121 per hunter.  You have a choice of one guide to one hunter for the price of $6,500 or one guide to two hunters for $5,750. The dates of the archery hunt are based on first come first served with some flexibility for those reserving early.

Mule Deer Archery Season Runs September 1 through September 11, 2013

Description: Archery hunts include 5 full days of hunting and The R & K Hunting Company can accommodate groups of up to 6 hunters. Tags are $606 per hunter.  You have a choice of one guide to one hunter for the price of $6,500 or one guide to two hunters for $5,750.

Hunt 1: Arrive on August 31 and begin hunt on September 1. Depart September 6.

Hunt 2: Arrive on September 6 and begin hunt on September 7. Depart September 12

Tag Draw Deadline Information

Draw deadlines for the 2013 hunting season are as follows:

Rifle and Archery Elk:                                                     January 31, 2013

Results are typically posted by March 15

 

Rifle and Archery Deer:                                                 March 15, 2013

Results are typically posted by July 15

 

To improve draw odds by purchasing bonus points, notify The R & K Hunting Company by September 1, 2012. The cost of bonus points is as follows:

Antelope             $30

Deer                      $40

Elk                          $50

 

The Queen Mountain Lodge

The stunning Queen Mountain Lodge has 8,000 square feet of furnished living space with 11 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a large & spacious kitchen and 3 great rooms. Washers and dryers are located on two levels. Relax in luxury after a great day of hunting with a personal chef to prepare all your meals.
